orange-dark chocolate-hazelnut muffins

... only if i could save the smell of toasted hazelnuts and freshly grated orange zest in a jar.. this would be one of my favourite winter aroma combinations

so I decided to make muffins as the best way to celebrate this great combination
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup crystal sugar + 1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
the zest of one orange
150g chopped dark chocolate
100 toasted and chopped hazelnuts
20g vanilla sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
the juice of one large orange
1 egg
50ml fresh milk
* we toast the hazelnuts for 5-6min on 150C so they start to be crunchy and can be peeled easily
* flour, sugar, baking powder, choc chips and hazelnuts are stirred in a big bowl
* the egg is beaten in another bowl, orange juice, milk and butter are added and stirred well
* the liquid is added in the "dry ingredients" mixture and stirred quickly
* the oven is preheated to 180C and the muffins cup on a tray are filled
* then they are baked for around 20min or until a toothpick comes out dry and are let to cool off on a metal rack
